This is a simulation of Ten pin bowling. The game comes in a championship format with many (hundreds)of different bowlers and all with their own personal cards. There is two main types of play One is to literally roll a twenty sided die down the cardboard lane into an area that gives you a result. Cross reference that result with the bowlers card to get a pin fall. The second type of play is to roll the twenty sided die and cross reference the number rolled with various charts.
