Ka-Bala is the mysterious game that fortells the future. It does so by combining three traditional methods of divination: the Tarot, astrology and a 'talking board'.For the 'talking board' (a.k.a. Ouija board) method, players sit at opposite ends of the board and rest their fingers on the corners. The marble rolls around the circular track on the Ka-Bala board, which is lined with letters and numbers and the words 'Yes' and 'No'. When a question is asked, the marble will spell out or point to the appropriate answer.For the Tarot, one of the players shuffles the Major Arcana cards and deals the deck picture-side-up into the card wells on the Ka-Bala board. Once again, players sit at opposite ends of the board and rest their fingers on the corners. The marble rolls around the circular track on the Ka-Bala board and, when a question is asked, the marble will indicate the Tarot card that provides the appropriate answer.For Astrology, the outermost circle on the Ka-Bala board lists the twelve signs of the Zodiac. Once again, players sit at opposite ends of the board and rest their fingers on the corners. The marble rolls around the circular track on the Ka-Bala board and, when advice about the future is desired, the marble will indicate the astrological sign which provides the appropriate answer.
