  • Description
The games simulates dogfights between fighters in WW2. The game is played in a number of 'impulses', with faster planes getting moving more often. A manuever can take several impulses to complete and is marked with maneuver marker in the hex that shows the plane's final position. TYhe object is simply to shoot the other players down before they shoot you down. The basic game is relatively simple and reasonably realistic. (It has a unique system of simulating different maneuvers.) But there are many additional rules which add even more realism (and complexity): ammo and fuel limits, critical hits, pilot quality, spotting, multiple planes on each side, etc.A set of 15 additional counters covering aircraft such as the British Defiant, the French Potez 631, German He162 and Me 163 were issued to subscribers of the General in Vol. 30, No. 6 issue. - BoardGameGeek
