NAME THAT COUNTRY is a childrens' geography game Ages 7 - 12The gameboard incorporates a spinner listing 60 Countries and their respective Continents. Players take it in turns to spin the spinner and then identify on the map the location of that country - this is done by calling out the appropriate number from a map and then cross-referencing it to a look-up table.A correct answer earns a number of movement points which are used to move playing pieces around the board. Many of the spaces on the board show postage stamps from various countries - these have no effect on play. Other squares, however, contain special instructions (move forward 1 space, go back 3 spaces etc...) which must be followed.Certain squares have a depiction of a postcard. If the piece lands on one of these spaces then a postcard is drawn from a deck and read aloud. The language and greeting, and the name of the sender, are clues to the identity of the country from which the card is sent.
